Big clue in the Michael Jackson investigation -- the LAPD detective leading the probe indicated January 18, 2010 may be a significant date. Detective Orlando Martinez asked a Las Vegas judge this AM to keep search warrant documents related to Applied Pharmacy secret until January 18. Law enforcement sources told us previously cops didn't want the warrant made public until the investigation was completed. As we first reported, the LAPD believes Applied Pharmacy supplied Dr. Conrad Murray with the Propofol that ultimately killed Michael Jackson. They are on the hunt to make sure other pharmacies didn't supply Propofol. Read more: http://www.tmz.com/##ixzz0XIlGkqRa

CN) - A group of journalists were briefly detained inside a courtroom after a child support hearing involving Michael Jackson's former physician, Dr. Conrad Murray.
The reporters were blocked by an armed bailiff from leaving the courtroom for several minutes Monday while Murray left the Clark County Family Court building, The Associated Press reported. Murray is not charged with any crime relating to Jackson's death, but is the focus of an investigation. He was in court to explain details of an agreement over $15,000 in unpaid child support payments. He was in his car and gone before the journalists were allowed to leave the courtroom, the AP reported http://www.courthousenews.com/2009/1...ctor_Exits.htm

Share This Article Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Michael Jackson's personal physician may never be paid for his services. Dr. Conrad Murray, who is currently the target of a manslaughter investigation into the King of Pop's death, reportedly won't get his $300,000 medical fee from AEG. Murray is said to be planning to sue Jackson's concert promoter for unpaid services, claiming he is entitled to the money under a contract he signed with AEG. However, TMZ sources said that while a contract was drafted, it required three signatures: AEG, Jackson, and Murray. Only Murray allegedly signed the contract and sent it to the company, but neither AEG nor the "Thriller" hitmaker ever signed it. The insiders added that AEG is adamant it will not pay the doctor a single penny. Meanwhile, Janet Jackson has hit out at Murray, blaming him for her brother's death. In an interview with ABC, she said, "He was the one administering, I think he is responsible." She added that she hoped Murray would never be allowed to practice medicine again. The Associated Press
Posted: 11/19/2009 10:00:15 AM PST Updated: 11/19/2009 10:00:15 AM PST LAS VEGAS—A Nevada judge plans to hear from a Los Angeles County prosecutor behind closed doors before deciding whether to unseal warrants stemming from a police investigation of pop singer Michael Jackson's death. A hearing Thursday in Las Vegas comes after an LAPD detective asked Clark County District Court Judge Valerie Adair on Wednesday to keep the documents sealed until Jan. 18. A lawyer for The Associated Press and other media argues there's no reason seal the records. They relate to an Aug. 11 search of Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas. That's where authorities say Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, bought the powerful sedative. Murray is the focus of a homicide investigation by authorities in Los Angeles who say the drug played a key role in Jackson's death. http://www.mercurynews.com/california/ci_13824260

Dr. Murray Search Warrant in Jackson Case
The judge has unsealed the search warrant issued against Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas ... where authorities believe Dr. Conrad Murray obtained the Propofol that ultimately killed Michael Jackson. According to the affidavit, during the search of Dr. Murray's home and office, cops recovered a sales receipt from Applied Pharmacy. The receipt showed that on May 12, 2009, Dr. Murray purchased 4 100 ml vials of Propofol. He also purchased 3 vials of benzos. One of the drugs Murray purchased -- Flumazenil -- is actually an antidote to a benzo, used to counteract the effects of benzos. The receipt for the drugs totaled $853, with a $65 FedEx fee to overnight the drugs. The affidavit states that cops were on the hunt for Visa and FedEx information linking Dr. Murray to the sale of Propofol by Applied Pharmacy. The affidavit says at the scene of Michael Jackson's death at his home, Propofol was recovered "in Dr. Murray's doctor's bag and on the bedside table." The Propofol was in 20 ml and 100 ml bottles. According to the affidavit, Dr. Murray told cops he was not the first doc to introduce Jackson to Propofol. Dr. Murray stated Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger had given Jackson medicine that was not working. And there's this ... according to the docs, "Detectives interviewed Grace Owanda (sic), Jackson's children's nanny. Owanda stated that Jackson was currently being treated by Dr. [Arnold] Klein and the last physician to treat Jackson was Dr. Larry Koplin."
