08-18-2007 According to Contact Music, a New Jersey man unwittingly purchased a cache of unreleased Jackson 5 recordings.
Richard Altomare, the boss of luggage movement company Universal Express, bought a collection of unclaimed personal belongings from the warehouse. When he was going through the belongings he discovered tapes reported to contain almost 60 unreleased songs by The Jackson 5.
Reportedly, Altomare is negotiating with Sony as well as Michael and Janet Jackson in hopes of releasing the material:
